Meditation & Restoration Guide

I found yoga 13 years ago at YogaWorks in Los Angeles.  I was compelled by the way the practice stopped the incessant thoughts in my mind.  I loved it so much that I overdosed on the Vinyasa Flow style classes and injured my lower back.  Not being able to practice caused me great suffering.  Then, my beloved teacher, Kia Miller, introduced me to Kundalini Yoga in 2010 and my whole world expanded.  Words cannot describe the transformation process that The Yoga of Awareness has ignited.  There is nothing I love more than this sacred, powerful, healing practice.  The physical practices vary in degrees, but the Spiritual connection to whatever YOUR Higher Power is, is unparalleled.



 

YOGA PRACTICE

Kundalini Yoga and meditation restores the nervous system and offers us “a way through every block.”  Known as The Yoga of Awareness, it brings the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies back into balance.  Having tried many different healing modalities and several other yoga practices, there is nothing more direct and decisive in its results as Kundalini Yoga given to US by Yogi Bhajan.  Yogi Bhajan graciously shared the practice with the West in 1969 when he encouraged people to put down alcohol, drugs and external stimulants to come get high on their breath instead!  What ecstasy we experience when we flow from darkness to light!  Wahe Guru!
